    Description

    Five members of the Joseph Smith family have served as Prophet and President  of the church. I Following Joseph Smith's death there was a leadership crisis which led to a division within the church. The largest group followed Brigham Young and the other group started  the Reformed Church in 1860. In 2001 the Reorganized Church changed its name to the Community of Christ.
